Fix the search criteria before interpreting the results
Use Orange County Florida’s my eClerk case search for the local court case. Choose Criminal Case Records or the relevant case type; keep the full case reference once you identify a candidate.

A visible docket and a downloadable filing have different coverage
Case history versus document image
The search page describes most online dockets from approximately 1990 onward, but documents for most case types from 2009 onward. An older case may have searchable events without the particular image you need.
Public versus role-based access
The clerk’s access information separates public records from special access for qualifying parties, attorneys and agencies. Registration alone does not establish entitlement to a confidential filing.

Keep the exact case reference
Record the case or citation number and the party name as displayed. Identify the order, judgment or other filing and its approximate date.

Ask the clerk about that item
Use the clerk’s division contact route and select the appropriate case division. Explain that you located the case but could not obtain the specified document.

Settle format before ordering
Say whether you need ordinary access or a certified copy for a recipient. Confirm availability, cost and delivery with the clerk rather than assuming that a portal screenshot is the required issued copy.
